I started my career in financial services in 1980 and I have considerable experience in banking. During my career, I had the opportunity to spend time in Hong Kong, San Francisco, and Dubai, as well as to travel extensively throughout the sub-continent of India. After five years in Dubai, I was part of a team recruited to join another private bank, and consequently, I returned to London. I then had a brief stint at another private bank, before trying my hand at other careers.
After a break of almost twenty years, I made the decision to return to financial services and I joined Strong Mortgage Solutions (SMS) in 2021. I joined SMS because I share their value system. I want to ensure that clients are treated fairly, that they receive the most appropriate mortgage for their circumstances, and make the process as convenient, simple, and time-efficient as possible.
I very much enjoy studying and I am in the process of obtaining the LIBF’s Diploma for Financial Advisers, which I hope to achieve next year.
In my spare time, I enjoy going to the cinema, reading, cooking, exercising at the gym and maintaining classic cars. Very occasionally (rarely), I play polo.
I was introduced to Brad Pitt & John Bon Jovi by a client who said “David, this is Mr. Brad, he’s a very famous actor and this is Mr. John, he plays in a band or something”
